Day 3 of Give Thanks
Thank you all for the lovely comments on my little ones!
Very sweet!!
After stating my thankfulness for my 4 children on Day 2…I’d like to say that for Day 3, at this moment…I’m VERY thankful that I don’t have 5 children!!!

For all of you parents out there…I know that y’all have had those days where your children just drive you to the point where you look like…well, this
!!
That would be me today!! Poor Jason…he’s had to totally put up with me today. (thank you honey…I love you and I’m SO sorry that you’ve had to deal with me…and the kids…you are too good to me!!
)
Humor me for just a moment okay…
(just going to take a moment and feel sorry for myself…then I’ll be done with it…I promise).
It’s just been one of those days when my abdomen has been hurting fairly bad
and the kids have chosen today not to listen ….at ALL!
Why, I ask, is it that when I’m not doing well…they decide it’s a good time to misbehave?
I just don’t understand that one. It’s like they have a six sense on this sort of thing…not in a good way either. Is it that they think that because I’m not myself that they will be able to get away with doing things that they know they shouldn’t be? Hmm…I just wasn’t THAT type of a child…so I just don’t get it.
As if not having them listen or behave themselves …and of course myself being in pain…wasn’t enough, I messed up dinner as well!
I’ve never messed up a dinner before…in fact, I’ve been told that I’m a wonderful cook. So, tonight when I burned the mashed potatoes…(because the boys broke a piece on the pressure cooker) it was well…depressing to say the least…especially after having dealt with the demon children (I KNOW they look like little
…but they mostly look like this

…which of course makes me look like…
!) Not a good look for me btw!
Okay…I think that I’m done ranting now…no really, I am.

So…please share with me any advice you may have or your experiences with children in this type of situation…I’d REALLY like to know!

Uhm… self-medicate? (oh, okay that’s what I do!)
No, seriously, YOU WILL COME UP WITH THE BEST SOLUTION because they’re your kids.
FYI: He wasn’t making breakfast for me… he was starving and I was still asleep so he made coffee and put some bacon in the micro– for himself, but he did share!
Kids are a handful, thats for sure!!! When you find the answers, will you let me know too!! heheheh
Aw sweetie, I’m happy to help… I just feel bad for you!

Yeah, send them home with their mom! *laughs*
If all else fails, a great temporary fix is to lock them in a closet.
(LOVE all the smilies, by the way!)
I have no advice, except to do exactly what you just did… take time for you and Jason.
Threaten them with unflavorered yogurt.
What happened to the letter from the deceased, or did I skip an entry?
