Day 7 of Give Thanks
I guess that it’s my week for posting pics here eh?

For today I’d like to say that I’m thankful that I’ve finally gotten updated photos for my children!! YAY!!

Caleb Corin Jonah
I’m sure that y’all noticed that there isn’t one for my oldest daughter, Dora. Well, there is a VERY good reason for that.
See, in the past, Dora has always had me do her hair for her school pictures…but this year she didn’t inform me as to what day the photos were to be taken and she wound up doing her hair herself. Well, she wasn’t very pleased with how her pictures turned out. In fact, she didn’t like them at ALL!
Good thing they offer retakes eh?
So…I should have a new photo of her to post here within the next couple of weeks or so.
Yup, this time I was informed as to when the retakes are so that I can make sure to do her hair for her…she’s a little happy about that.

One other thing before I let y’all go for today…
I KNOW that I often say thank you to y’all for the comments that you leave on my site.
I want all of you to know that when I say thanks that I TRULY mean it.
Words are such powerful and meaninful things. They can hurt, comfort, and encourage people in way that are almost comprehensible. However, words are very important to all of to hear…especially when they are like the ones that y’all so frequently leave in your comments here.
So yes, I’m saying thank you yet again for the wonderfully kind words that y’all expressed for yesterday’s post in regards to my son, Caleb. He is such a special little boy…but it’s always extremely touching for me to hear other people tell me that about him.
So thank you…and bless you!!

Your kiddies are beautiful!! Enjoy your day!
He is very special… although a little aggravating when he won’t go to sleep!
Such beautiful pix… but then again, I get the privilege of seeing them everyday.
You’re right on the power of words… definitely for me since they’re pretty much my stock and trade
love you hon!
ok, ok, when I started writing my comment, there were no comments here… she sneaked in!
(see, I do like reading your site… hehe)
They are so beautiful. Wish I had a girl somewhere.
Got two sons and three grandsons! All men! No girls. I told my sons I wanted a girl so I could dress her in hair bows and lace.
Hope you are fine.
Your children look like little angels.
I used to get big scissors and work on mine too. Drove my mother nuts. Even in my 30′s
, though then the stylist would announce to the others “Here’s another do-it-your-selfer!”
Very nice pics. Thanks for subbing. Hope you had a great day.
Sending warm hugs to all. Velvet Glove has a son that has similar problems. Check out her site…she too is a terrific mom!
Adorable kids! I can’t wait til I see my daughter grown like that. Sometimes I wish I can keep her in a bubble. That way she won’t be hurt by anyone or anything.
wonderful pics….mine seem to hate pics all together…especially ones they have to sit for. long over due for pics too..maybe some day…..
and the thanks for comments and eprops…..dang straight….when you get them, it seems to let ya know……someone smiled or someones cares enough to take time to drop a comment.

I love you!
Your children are beautiful. I have to admit to being particularly “drawn” to Caleb… then I read the post below. I had no idea he had autism. I’m glad to have found another Special Needs mom here. Any time you need an ear, know that I am here… Now I can’t wait to catch up on the stories I’ve missed here. I am new to your blog but remember Jason from waaayyy back. His was the very first Xanga blog I ever read!
I’m happy for you both.
Sorry about posting twice! I just came back to say I know what you mean about sincerely being thankful for the kind words here. I wanted to thank YOU for some of the kinder words on my blog.
