Day 18 of Give Thanks
How many days are left until Thanksgiving?
10 more days from today…and we get to fill our tummies with tons of good food!!
There are a lot of things going on this time of year…Christmas shopping…decorating, cooking, cleaning, mailing cards, planning…etc. It’s so easy to get caught up in the hussle and bussle of it all isn’t it?
I’m thankful that this year I’ve been able to keep things in perspective during this season. It’s not easy…but sometimes, we just don’t get a choice.
Ya know?
The week of Thanksgiving will be a week of mixed feelings for me. I lost one of my closest friends last year on the 25th of November
…and my brother’s birthday is the 27th. See what I mean?
So…I’ll just take things one day at a time during that week and try to concentrate on the good things that are occuring.
Tell me…what are your plans for Thanksgiving?
Have a great Monday everyone!!

YAY, Finally a post loaded so that I can comment!
Thanksgiving plans are still up in the air, probably will just stay home, or go to the barn and feed the “kids” there some carrots and apples, so they can be thankful too. Not much use in cooking all that food just for me, so dinner will probably be a restaurant…which will also make me thankful to not have all the dishes to wash after!
I should make soe plans, thanks for the reminder…
This is a bitter-sweet holidayfor e as well, I am just going to do my best to have a good time.
I am spending Thanksgiving with the person I love the most… you!
I look forward to my Thanksgiving too.

I’m sorry that this time of year is difficult for you. It is for many people. Hang in there girl. I’m glad that you have someone you love to help you keep things together and running smoothly this year.

And hey, you can come anytime! I need all the help I can get between now and Sunday.
You’re in CO, right? I’m in KS, how many hours drive is that?
hehe
Dontcha wish life could be that simple sometimes?
My plans for Thanksgiving ~ Spending it w/ family. Getting my tummy stuffed. Making plans for Christmas.
I consider myself something of an expert on distances from Kansas to Colorado
It’s been a while since I’ve been able to visit anyone’s site…what a nice gift from Jason! He’s soooooo thoughtful!
I’m glad that the school teacher-parent conferences went well…you must be so proud of all of them! My Thanksgiving plans are a bit different this year as I’ll be with my Dad in Istanbul…we’ll return to be with my family on Saturday evening…so we’ll delay the traditional dinner until after we return!

Love makes everything better.
And my Thanksgiving plans just changed…drastically! I didn’t think I’d be able to eat anything this year, but as it turns out, I still have the “capacity” to enjoy a big dinner this year. Oh well, maybe by Christmas, things should be better.
My birthday is the 27th also!
Hey, you… you are just so sweet… I’m thankful for people like you!
