  • I’ve been a BAD Xangan!!!

I’m sorry y’all…I haven’t had time the past few days to visit hardly any of your sites at ALL!!  The kids have been keeping me quite busy and my normal routine is REALLY out whack right now!!

So please accept my apology for my lack of visiting/commenting/and epropping!

I see however, that y’all liked the pics of Toby!!  He is a cute little bugger isn’t he!  Although he isn’t very helpful when attempting to make a bed!!

Well, I said that I would tell of the New Year’s Eve events so…let’s move on shall we?

Jason and I had a few changes in our plans…but we had a wonderful night.  Of course Jason wouldn’t let us even get out of the house without taking a photo (I’m better when behind the camera instead of in front of it btw…haha)….but if I didn’t pose, I’m afraid that we’d have never gone out!

So here it is…not as bad as I thought it would be…haha.  In all seriousness, it turned out quite well I think!

We decided to go out to Red Lobster for dinner and both ordered the all you can eat shrimp!! YUMMY!!!

After dinner we went over to a local sports bar/grill and decided it was best to stay there and party instead of heading downtown where everyone else who doesn’t normally get out much had already decided to go.  Besides, the clubs downtown were all charging some ridiculous rate like $30per person for a cover charge and this bar had no cover charge and half off drinks until midnight!!

So…I drank some Mai Tais’s and Jason got his Long Island Iced Tea…and we were pretty darn content sitting listening to the music and watching sports highlights on a majorly HUGE screen!

They passed out party hats, noise makers and such a few minutes before midnight along with a champaigne toast.  That was very cool and quite festive.

At midnight, Jason and I toasted to him saying, “to 2003…OUR year”.  Then we kissed…a LOT! hehe

There was this one guy that was quite the entertaining one for the night.  He was wearing cowboy boots and wranglers and got up on the bar and danced to some techno music…it was quite humurous and interesting to say the least.

He also decided that Jason and I needed to go dance…so after midnight and about 4 drinks and a shot of tequilla later…we were on the dance floor having a wonderful time.  I drank WAY too much…but Jason thinks I’m hilarious when I’ve been drinking (he’s strange).

We played some air hockey and I got my butt kicked 3 out of 4 games by him…and of course I keep telling him that if I’d have been sober those wins wouldn’t have come so easily.  He doesn’t believe me though…so for now I’m letting him boost his own ego…but he’ll learn soon enough.

All in all…it was a very fun and wonderful night!!  We agreed that we haven’t had that much fun since we were in Mackinac…so, it most definitely went well.

So…what did YOU do for New Year’s Eve???

Have a great weekend y’all!!!  I’ll TRY to get to your sites soon!!
