Weekend Recap…
The weekend went pretty well…
I got some baking done…about 4 batches of cookies or so. I wasn’t feeling too well…but still functional. I got the Christmas
up…and partially decorated, I’ll finish that tonight. 
I didn’t get to watch much hockey on Friday night…but I did watch my new Pirates of the Caribbean DVD that Jason bought me! That was nice…and I got my

! 
We decided to take it easy this year on the outside decorating…sometimes, less is more. So, we are putting out our lighted reindeer…we have 4 and 2 of those are animated…we’ll put up our red ribbons and bows on the front porch lights that have green light bulbs in them and put the garland out on the gate and around the light post out front…that along with the small lit pine trees on the brick columns that surround the courtyard…should be plenty. If I get up enough gumption…I’ll put some lights on the trees…if not, then I’m not going to lose any sleep over it.
I love decorating…but since I haven’t felt so well lately, Jason doesn’t want me to overdo it…so I’m trying to listen to him.
We watched the Broncos/Chiefs game yesterday…and the Falcons/Panthers game. Those were amazing games!! The Broncos just beat the crap out of the Chiefs…and it was great to see Michael Vick back in action with the Falcons!! He is definitely one of the greatest quarterbacks ever!! Very exciting to watch!
We also got most of our Christmas shopping done
…I love online shopping 
!! I’m not lazy…I just don’t like huge crowds at stores.

some great games yesterday
I started my shopping…is hard for me..I work retail so when I’m off work..I don’t want to be anywhere near a store!
I *think* I’m done with gifts, but what I think and what I am are two different things.
but we did get the tree done, and that was huge, even considering the fact that we were snowed in.
got any recipes for diabetic cookies .. or treats … ??? sounds like a baking good time ….

thank you for the comment on my site. it meant a lot. i guess you have to go through a few bad men to get to the good one. although kinley informs me i have been through a creepy amount of men. no biggie. i stopped at the good one.
and as for my comments. i am just being me.
i have to do a butt load of baking. katy’s troop is having a bake sale. i think i am the only one doing any baking. oh well. all for the girls.
ah! Baking….I wish I was inclined to bake….my house would smell of christmas every day of they year!!!
