  • A sad return…

I’ve been gone from Xanga since Christmas Eve…but when I returned today I found that one of our own is in a coma.   Most of you know her as Wickgal, some know her as Donna…but she is also known as friend to a great many here at Xanga.  She needs prayer right now…badly.  Please pray for her and keep her in your thoughts.

    On a brighter note…

Well…Jason and I finally got to see LOTR – Return of the King on Christmas and it was incredible!! It was everything that I expected and more…a totally amazing accomplishment!

If you haven’t seen it…RUNdon’t walk to the theater!!

Well, I probably won’t post again until the New Year…so please have a wonderful and safe New Year’s celebration!!

And let me know what you did to celebrate…ok

  • oh noo!! I haven’t been around much!! oh my…

  • I too am saddened by Wickies illness, but I know if we pray with all our might and belive she will get God’s healing. No matter what He has in store for her…..

I hope you have a great New Years

  • Was a fab movie, wasn’t it? Very sad news about Donna, I really hope all is okay. She’s made it this far, hopefully her strength and will can pull her through. But am definitely praying and thinking for her a lot right now.

  • I am so tempted to write a postcard to Peter Jackson saying, “So what do we get next Christmas?  With love and kisses from a Tolkien Purist..”  That man has actually brought my childhood dreams to life ~ how many people can honestly say they have done that for anyone, let alone for the thousands upon thousands that feel the same way about LOTR?  What a masterpiece!

I hope Wickgal’s on the mend soon

  • Praying for our Donna and wishing you, Jason and the kiddos a very happy 2004!

  • I’ve heard about Wickgal on others Xanga sites, such a sad thing to happen.

  • Happy New year..I’ll be home tending to my sick hubby and watching movies..so exciting!

  • That’s horrible about your friend :( I’ll keep her in my thoughts and prayers.

Return of the King was amazing! Hands down one of the best films this year.

I don’t have big plans for New Years Eve…just a hockey game and then the Twilight Zone marathon on the sci-fi channel.

Happy 2004 to you and your family!

  • happy new year!

we’re having our requisite mah-johng party this year, but I think I’m going to be a bum and just go to bed early

  • You know beachgirl also suggested we all use Wickies snail mail address and flood her snail mail with all our best wishes for her and Doo.  Sending them all our love, hugs and prayers.  I am getting my card this weekend to mail off to her.  My New Years will be spent at home like any other day, and being safe.  Have a HAPPY NEW YEAR! ! !   May the good Lord bless you, may he make his face to shine upon you and grant you peace, love, hope, and happiness enough to last you a lifetime! ! !   Have a great day and a wonderful tomorrow!  ! !  Much love and many hugs! ! ! !
