Weekend Over…already?!

My ex got the flu…so he called me this noon and says, “I don’t want to get the kids sick…so, can you come pick them up?”. What??? Ahhh man!
I was just getting to the point where I was enjoying myself…dammit! *sigh*
Well, they are all home now…with the exception of Corin, she is staying the rest of the weekend at her grandma’s house.
That will help a bit considering she and Jonah annoy each other to no end. However, they can’t possibly leave each other alone either…it’s a typical love/hate relationship.
So…after picking up the kiddos, Jason and I decided to take them shopping. Isn’t that what all parents want to do when they have three children with them?
We actually didn’t have much of a problem while at the store…they were pretty well behaved.
Go figure eh?
So now…they are here…whining…making silly jokes…and giggling…just being kids.
I was hoping for a break…but, I guess I’ll just be thankful for the one night of sleep that I DID get eh.
That is…if you don’t account for not being able to fall asleep until after midnight because your husband is already asleep and is having a conversation with himself and is making bodily noises like you wouldn’t believe…a decent nights sleep.
Marriage is so glamorous at times!

Have a great weekend!!

P.S.~ For someone who was SO tired…and didn’t get much sleep…to make matters worse…I still haven’t gotten laid yet either. I’m tellin’ ya…’tis not fair.

UPDATE
umm…got laid…will stop whining now

I HATE it when he has his own late nite convos – I mean, if you are going to wake me up by talking at least make sense and don’t talk in garbled snippets LOL
I hope you all enjoy what is left of the weekend

Knight speaks very clearly and quite loudly about what is going on when he is asleep. It took a long while to get used to the fact he was not talking to me. Now I try to remember what he says so he can tell me what in the hell all the yelling was about…or what he was doing….you know what I mean?
Maybe you two need to find a motel
lol..hell no, he’s got too much invested in pittsburgh. lol.
ken sawyer already wrote a letter to the mayor of winnipeg and told him to shove it. lol. =Þ
have a good one! =)
Well it’s fair now folks, if you know what I mean. As for the sleeptalking, you best listen honey, I could say something truly profound that I’d never realize consciously. So if I start repeating “forty-two, forty-two” in my sleep, you know it means something.
Love you!

lol..I got some too..after falling asleep next to hubby while he was playing a game..he woke me up and suprised me! marriage is glorious!
I’m sorry your weekend got cut short.
I will cross my fingers that the next time its your ex’s weekend to have the kids, he stays well!
Ohh! “Cold Mountain” is excellent! It will make you laugh and cry. There are so many great actors in it that have small parts, you’ll be playing the “Where have I seen this person before?” game a lot! The scenery is gorgeous too…go, go, go!

Well, there is a happy ending even to bad weekends (in some peoples lives
)
He used to talk a lot when he crashed/passed out over here too. The best one was when he rose up one night and said loudly and brightly: “How ya doin, Buddy?” Totally asleep.
Yeah a lot of people are getting sick, not fun.
yeah I like the Avs, peter forsberg rocks, you shoudl still be an Avs fan even when hes gone though lol.
I hope you have had a good weekend!!

I am lucky. Don doesn’t talk in his sleep, nor does he snore. Due to his Krohn’s disease, and part of his intestines being removed, he is gaseous occasionally. Nothing too bad. Talking or farting. hmmm. Which is worse. lol. He never keeps me up or wakes me up with his gas. I guess I am lucky. And, I got laid too. lol. Every other weekend like clockwork.
lmao gettin laid….hmmmm i think i somewhat remember those days…..j/k
have a good one
