Mostly Nonsense…
So how have you all been doing eh? I know, I’ve been popping in and out of Xanga from time to time…but without any consistancy. I’ve been so busy at work…which is nothing new…and since the weather has been so warm lately, I’ve been busy with the kiddos as well.
Speaking of the kids, they are on Spring Break this week, which they are estatic about…but my Mom isn’t considering that means that they are home during the day instead of at school. I’ve told her to just send them all to the park…and she’s finally taken my advice. Yesterday she shipped them off to the park and there they played for the majority of the day!
Hey…I figure, when I was a kid I used to take off in the morning and go play and do whatever and then come home whenever I was hungy…eat…and then off I’d go again until dinner time! If it good enough for us…it’s good enough for them. 
Besides, kids these days spend way too much time loafing around the house watching television and playing video games and not enough time outside running around being a kid. And Americans wonder why we have obese children. DUH!! 
Anyway…March is supposed to be the snowiest month in Colorado…but not this year. We’ve been in the upper 70′s for the most part since last week when we peaked at 80°!! I enjoy the warm weather and it gives me a chance to get out and do things…but I’m concerned because we’re going into our fourth year here with a drought.
That’s not good at all.
I guess I’ll just have to put some faith into Mother Nature eh? I mean, what else can we do?

I will not tell my boss this about your weather as he leaves the UK next Thursday for Copper Mountain and he WANTS more snow

Yeah it hasn’t snowed much here either in March. H asn’t really been that warm though. Just in the 40s and stuff, how sad lol. Hawaii was so warm, and now this is just cold. I can’t wait till it gets warm again.

I think parents put a leash on their kids by keeping them inside the house. That’s not parenting at all. My parents kept a leash on me, too, but it was the kind of leash that meant, if you go too far out of the neighborhood you know you’re in trouble! Now that was fun.
I wish it would rain a whole ton over the next few weeks, that would definitely be nice.
katy is on spring break too. she has been playing outside. coming in with scratches and bruises. and smiles.
When I was little, if we were INside, you were taking a nap! So, we hauled butt and played outside ALL day and loved it.. Came in filthy dirty, took a bath, ate supper and crashed in bed.. No tv, or games inside for us! Kids need a little dirt and be outside in the fresh air to use their imagination!
Finally warming up here a bit. Saturday will probably be busy at work. Did I mention that I open, and the coverage is sparse? Grumble.
Warm weather…..im going to miss it

Yelp, kids do need to get outside. Mom used to say, “dirt makes you healthy!”
Lord, we were never in the house. Always outside and mostly getting into trouble!
