  • Is Hell really this hot??

I think that the weather people here are truly confused.  Early this morning, around 7am, they stated that it would be a lovely 98° here today.  By the time I arrived at work, around 7:30am, they changed their tune and said it would be more like 102°.

Did I move to Arizona and forget?   I grew up in Michigan…and we have a place called Hell there…but it isn’t anywhere near being this hot!!

Somtimes I think that they just look at the mountains and take a really good educated guess as to the outcome of the day’s weather.  You know…if it’s already 60 something degrees out at 6am…then it will more than likely get up to the low to mid 90′s.  Or if they see some cloud activity in the mountain range (which is very visible from the Denver area when it’s there) they say that we “might get some percipitation today”.

    Hell…I should become a meteorologist!!

Well…I hope it’s cooler where you’re at today!!

  • It’s that hot here too.
    But, we are neighbors
    I’m ready for Fall!!!

  • Whew! And I thought it was warm here. I hope you survive this hotspell. I’d pass you a fan and a bucket of ice if I could Maria!

  • I think you got my summer weather! It hasn’t been that hot at all, only humid. I would rather have the dry heat of Arizona to this uck.  Stay warm!!

  • It’s humid here too (So Cal).  BLECH!  Makes me have nasty sinus headaches.  I’d rather be in Arizona to be honest.  That dry heat is way preferable to this nasty mess.

  • Aspens, huh? We have an ongoing battle with Maples(they send out what my grandkids call “helicopters”) and if you dont’s get the gutters cleaned out, they will grow there too..lol. And then there are the Mimosa trees that sprout up everywhere and become full blown trees seemingly overnight. And then there are the Hackberry trees that only germinate if they have passed through a birds digestive system. You get the picture….they can sprout up just anywhere.

  • Phew! Thank goodness it isn’t that hot here in Scotland.

  • That is very hot makes me glad to have a cool day

  • Yeah, we hit our first 100 degree day here yesterday in western colorado…ugh. I hope it cools down soon all over the state! Anyways, hope your week is going well!

  • Its been OVER 100 here in AZ. Torture I tell ya!

  • Weather forecasting and baseball are the only jobs that you can fail 2 out of 3 times at and be considered good. Love you!

  • Yeah its sooo humid here its unbearable :P   But what do ya do…stay inside the air conditioning and be thankful that you have a cool house to live in….cause ya could be dyin in this blasted heat.  Thanks for the comment…hopefully by me tellin her that she might lay off of me some.  But i have a cousin who is ‘plump’ and my granny is all the time saying that my cousin needs to lose weight too…go figure on that one?  Take care…~*Keri*~

  • Hot and humid here too.  Work goofy.  Life in general sort of a melange of the unexpected, usually not too bad.

  • not cool here and we had horrible thunderstorms that knocked off the power last night.. needless to say I was in a bind seeing how I need air to breath good at night… and no backup oxygen that was a mistake!!! LOL

I will have to rectify that this morning…LOL

I hope it cools off for you all soon!

    Take care,

    Tina
