A break in the clouds…
After doing a great deal of searching and quote requests, I think that I may have found a place that will give me a new windshield with installation for only $185!!!
So, now all I have to do is wait a few weeks until I can afford to have it done.
That makes me feel a whole lot better btw. See, I told you I’d be better today!!

In other news…
After our wonderful
temperatures the past couple of days, today is calling for flash floods!!
Talk about a switch eh?
Oh well (as my favorite donkey would say), ’tis probably a good thing to have some moisture after all of that heat.

I got an email from my X yesterday informing me that he made plans for this weekend before checking the visitation schedule (he’s supposed to have all of the kiddos this weekend and he thought he only had Corin, which wasn’t until next weekend).
So then he asks me to change my plans so that he can help his friend move.
Umm…does that seem fair to you?
Normally this would be no big deal…but I was planning on taking Dora to the Renaissance Festival this weekend as a way of saying thank you for helping me last weekend.
However, that kind of blows that. She’s very upset with him now.
The good news is that my Mom volunteered to watch the twins so that we can go (her hand is doing better btw
).
So…we will be going anyway!!! HA!

I finally talked to my boss the other day about my “raise“. He said that the president of the company is well aware that I have more money due to me and that next week is when the salary freeze is officially lifted (hmm…I thought it was July 1st
) and that he said he would “rectify the situation then“.
So…once again, we’ll see.
I believe nothing until it’s in my bank account!!
Well…that’s it for me peeps!! Hope you have a good day!!

Glad that you are getting to go forward with your plans. We have one of those festivals here in the month of May. But it costs 2 1/2 times what yours does!
Have fun at the fair! I hope the weather cooperates for you.

*crossing fingers* about your raise Maria!
-Lorie-
They still not given you a raise yet
hope you get to enjoy yourself this weekend
I had to have mine windsheild replace (crack was over 6 inches. I found a place that came to my house next day. Is windshield covered under the policy? The place that did it was nationwide.
So all in all some good news then
I am glad you still get to go to the Ren Faire!!
Nice price on the windshield replacement!…..Yeah, I’ve heard of a few places getting those flash floods recently. Not a lot of fun.
I’m glad to hear that you’ll still be going to the Festival. There’s no reason why you should have had to alter your plans for that……And I hope you get a well-deserved raise!
Have a wonderful day!
Eeyore is my hero
keep on top of the bastard.
Pretty flowers,Maria! I really like your new dividers
I hope you and Dora have a fantastic time at the Renaissance Festival! Wish I could go.
Hoping for all positives to happen to you…raise, Rennaisaance (sp?) Fair, good vibes…sunshine
Goobers who use the “from the higher ups” excuses will be the death of us. No, for serious, I’ve been watching the news. Now they’re at your work place. Bastards. Have fun at the Ren Fest!
Maybe if we’re un-bastardly enough for long enough we’ll get the best of them in the long run. Love you baby
a ren-fair takes precedence over moving…. it’s in the rule book.
Your new page shift thing scared me the first time it happened.
Haha.
