Okay…here’s a good question for ya.  First off, when you’re on a highway out in the middle of the ocean, how do you not notice a disabled vehicle?  I mean, it’s not like there’s a TON of traffic out there right?

Second, it says that they took one person to a “local hospital” right? So, exactly how far away would that be from the middle of the ocean to be considered local?

I’m not trying to be smartass or anything..but I mean, this stretch of the highway is in the Florida Keys…it is out in the middle of ocean right?  Well…I suppose it’s not exactly in the “middle” of the ocean…but you are surrounded by water out there.

I’d hate to be the one who had to rally up equipment to get that trailer back onto the highway.

Now you all know how much I love the water…but umm…nope…forget it!

  • Probably talking on a cell phone.

  • I would think a boat would be quicker in getting someone somewhere local – yikes! I always thought I would be nervous driving on that stretch of hiway!

  • My bet would be someone nodding off behind the wheel.. otherwise, I just don’t get it!  Blimey!

  • Whoa those pics were something else.  Btw, if i would just have slowed down i would have read that it wasnt Jasons birthday, DUH.  Blonde Moment!!!!  Have a great day!! ~*Keri*~

  • Nothing wrong with a little sarcasm…. ;)

  • gasp! that’s horrible!

    (but LOL at Wilshak’s comment)

  • I am glad noone was really hurt there , its amazing how the trailer is just hanging there

  • I’m guessing the guy who was taken to the hospitol was the driver who suffered a severe case of piss-in-the-pants skeered, man.  I would’ve been, if I had been driving the truck.

  • Holy dangling trailers, Batman!

    love you

  • rofl jason. too funny. but seriously. when i am traveling for great lengths of time. you do get into a zone. i try to stay out of it. but sometimes you slip into it. especially if the scenery is monotonous. like oh say. a large bridge over a large span of water. jesus could float beside my car window talking to me. and i wouldn’t notice. especially that trip down 41 from sullivan to evansville. grrrrrr.

  • wow…thats terrible…. water is a scarey thing sometimes
