As far as the surgery, just stick with it. It took me over a year to get it approved by my insurance company. However, that was partly because I procrastinated in getting information to them. But once I got approved, things went pretty fast. Once I got clearance from the cardiologist and the pulminologist, I got a surgery date a few weeks later. Unfortunately, I spent Christmas in the hospital. But it was definately worth it. I won’t lie, the first month or so following the procedure is pretty rough, and definately will test your strength and will. But once you start healing, the results are almost immediate. I’ve lost 110 lbs. already in less than 3 months, and feel wonderful. If you ever have any questions about it, please let me know.
