  • Mmmmm….this looks GOOOOD!!!

Sorry…it’s VERY cold here right now.  When I got up this morning it was -1° with a wind chill of -21°. BRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

(I DO live in Colorado right?? or did I move back home and not know it?)

Well…we finally got some of that perverbial white stuff (snow)…but, we need a lot more of it!!  This whole drought thing is not cool at all.

Our reservoirs are currently only at 45% of what they should be for this time of the year.  We need some moisture and soon or we will be rationing water by this summer.

    Well…enough on the weather update.

The kids are getting better…finally! (YAY!!)

Thank you for well wishes and thoughts and prayers…it is much so appreciated.

I’m sorry that I haven’t been around much lately…but life has gotten in the way of my play time lately.  (I hate it when that happens)  I’ve been SOOOOOOO BUSY at work this week you just have NO idea!!!  I’ve had to rewrite some of the job specification plans for some of our projects and I was already behind on my filing…mainly because every time I attempt to get some of it done, someone has something else that I need to do that is more pressing.  I need an ASSISTANT!!!!!!!

Okay…I’m done whining and complaining now…but that is the  reason as to why I’ve been slacking here and haven’t visited sites much lately.

Although…I would like to know what you have planned for Valentine’s Day with your sweeties!!!  So…will you share???  Anyone going AWAY for the occasion??

I don’t think that we’ll be going anywhere more than a restaurant and a movie…if that.  It’s difficult to go out when you don’t have people readily available to watch the kids.  Ya know?

    Anyway…share with me would ya??

OH…and I hope that you had a wonderful week…and enjoy your weekend!!!

  • I know all my farm kids are happy to have some moisture. It is not a good situation in the part of Colorado either.

I agree with you about this morning. I went outside and thought: Is this a New York morning or what?

Take care. I am glad the kids are feeling better.

  • Hmmm…Valentine’s Day.
You’d think we’d go out of town and make it a big ta-do every year…since it IS our wedding anniversary as well.  But, you see…I married the LEAST romantic man on EARTH!  His most romantic gesture was ‘letting’ me get married on Valentine’s Day.
Erm…sorry…do I sound bitter?    He’s on my poopy list right now.

  • that looks yummy..and warm!!! For Valentine’s day this year Hubby and I will be taking the kids to build a bear , they want to make their own Valentine bear, then the 4 of us will be going out to Dinner..later that night Rick and I will probably watch a movie and get comfy

  • Enjoy the weekend. Stay warm and well !!

  • A bunch of my friends and I are planning to go out and have tonnes of fun on Valentines Day. The original plan was to go to a romantic restaurant where all the couples were and start a food fight or to go to a movie and each sit in every other seat so there were no two seats together for all the couples and then throw popcorn at them. But we decided to be nicer, so we’re just going to go and have a fun group date of our own with no men at all! =)

  • Glad the kids are better now , hope you get a rest this weekend after all that work

  • If I could send you the 6 inches of snow we got last night, I would! We had a drought here the last 2 years and it is not like that anymore now. Thank God. Hope you have a great weekend! and {{{hugs}}}

  • holy hot damn…er should i say cold?

i’m glad your kids are feeling better!! =)

and with that pens/avs game..the thing was…there was no game. the players were there..but that’s about it. lol. weird eh? =)

  • We had a drought last year, but are almost caught up now. Valentines Day will probably be spent watching TV alone, like usual.

  • This makes two states I’ve lived in with long-standing droughts! Only Indiana seems to get enough precip…

Since I haven’t posted it on my site yet, I can share here with your readers what our neighborhood looks like with the snow…

(That’s my car you see on the street, and our house is to its right… mostly hidden by that big tree on the right side. Above and beyond you see, of course, the Rockies )… U!

  • Wow…thanks honey   Ya know…that camera I bought you sure does take some incredible pictures!

    U 2

  • awwww looks like a wonderful pic jason put up….

and i goin to be going to a monster jam show…or valentines day…imagine that!!!

    have a good weekend!!!!

  • Not celebrating Valentine’s this year! But that’s fine with me!

Listen, want to trade spots..it’s been freaking cold, cold, cold here and lots of snow!

  • Thank you for the visit …. I always enjoy your site and your information on you lives.

  • Weather, one things you just can’t control. It is cold in WA too, unfortunately we are not getting the snow!! As for V-day I will be sitting in a 5 hour Wide Area Networking class, the ultimate romantice experience!

  • Thanks to Jason for posting the neighborhood pic…that’s great to see!

So far the 3rd snowiest winter on record here.  Every week seems to bring a 1-2 inch refill to keep things whitened up.  Another one tomorrow morning when we’re driving to Indy for a pesticide workshop.  LOL

Minus eleven with minus 35 windchills have been the coldest so far.

  • Forgot to mention that I wrote about this before. I like the new musical theme
