Would you wear this on your wedding day?

Well…if you ask me, there is no way in hell I’d have worn that on my wedding day.
However, I’m sure that a few Hollywood starlets probably will…or wear something similar to it.
What do ya think?
Okay…so remember yesterday when I asked if anyone had heard about the rumor regarding President Bush wanting John McCain as his running mate instead of Dick Cheney…well, I found a news article this morning that John McCain replied to this rumor in. He states, “I think the day that President Bush drops Vice President Cheney will be a cold day in Gila Bend, Arizona,” he said. “I see no scenario in which the president would replace Dick Cheney.” ~TOM RAUM, Associated Press Writer
And what was President Bush’s reply to all of the rumors you ask? Well, he had this to say about how Edwards would stack up against Cheney. “Dick Cheney can be president. Next?” Bush snapped. The White House insists that Bush is sticking with Cheney. ~TOM RAUM, Associated Press Writer
And there ya go! I guess that Bush is sticking with Cheney after all. However, I don’t feel that the little potshot remark against Edwards was necessary…but hey…this IS the Presidential Elections and this IS America. Would we expect any less? I think not.
This whole thing made me think a bit though…you know, about Cheney’s age and health as of late. So let’s take a look at Cheney’s health history shall we?
Cheney, 63, has had four heart attacks since 1978, the most recent in November 2000 right after one of the closest, most stressful elections in U.S. history. A sophisticated pacemaker-defibrillator was placed in his chest in June 2001. The vice president had his annual heart checkup in May and was told there were no signs of irregularities or blockage in blood flow. ~TOM RAUM, Associated Press Writer
Ya know what? His history is very similar to my dad’s before he passed away in 1998 at the age of 70 years old. I hope that life doesn’t hold the same fate for Cheney, but then again…my dad also wasn’t in one of the most stressful environments in the world either. However, Cheney is.
I don’t want anyone to get me wrong. I have nothing against Dick Cheney, in fact, I think that he’s the best thing that Bush has going for him.
However, with his health issues…he’s also the one of the worst things Bush has going for him in the upcoming elections.
Okay…I’ll get off of my political soapbox now.
So…we’ve gone from fashion to politics all in one post. Wow…that’s a lot of ground to cover for me!!
Anyway, I hope that you have a wonderful weekend and a great Friday!!

Puss in Boots?
Sorry, that was a gimme.
I have plenty against Cheney. He’s an environmental and libertarian nightmare.
Wicked comes to Chicago next spring. I’d love to see it on Broadway with the original sets.
Well I can wish.
LOL…you’re right Wil…she does remind me of Puss in Boots!!
Ugh, I hope they have better dresses when I get married.
It seems to me that half of the dress is missing, lol! Hope you have a great weekend too!
At least you have pretty posies separating your fashion and political opinions. I am in TOTAL agreement with the fashion comment…..and 1/2 the dress is missing…..there’s more skin showing than on a weiner.
That’s a pretty SCANDALOUS wedding dress…to say the least! LOL!
That is the most hideous thing i have ever seen….maybe someone with poor taste in a wedding gown would probably wear this..lol Some of these designers need to go back to fashion school…ugh! Thanks for the comment
Take care..~*Keri *~
what an awful dress…lol..I can’t stop laughing..
Hello from the United Kingdom,

Hugs from across the miles,

I dunno, I think you’d ROCK in that wedding dress, babe. And I bet many a man would want her to keep her boots on in bed, if his bride wore that combo.
that dress…horrible!!!
I hope that things are going well for you!
it wouldn’t be for me. but hey. i say. whatever makes you feel good on your day. and cheney bush. whatever. they make me ill.
I think some people who suit crazy fashion could pull it off but for us normal people I say no. But I think you’d definitely be remembered if you wore it!
Thats so ugly, and its probably so expensive too
I like Cheney, I think hes a good vice president, maybe he would make a better president, lol, i don’t know um, yeah its scary about his health, I hope he can stay healthy
It’s certainly not as beautiful as your wedding dress, nor she so beautiful as you in said dress.
As for the politics, you know how I feel
Love you baby!
If I had the body… probably NOT !!! LOL
As for the vice president… I think it was all just a rumor to get the president stirred up…. in my opinion… and it looks like it worked…LOL
I hope you have a great sunday!
Tina
